This A Passionate Quest Quad is a part of the A Novel Romance collection. This collection has already been released in the US and is soon to be released in the Netherlands!
The quad consists of four purple toned eye shadows. I don’t have much experience with MAC eye shadows so I couldn’t wait to try this.
Starting at the top left:
The Wrong Man is a soft pink satin colour. Next to it is Serenade, my favourite of the four. Serenade had a blue duochrome effect and it had the best pigmentation of the four. Bottom left is Brazenly, which is a nice eggplant colour. This also had nice pigmentation, Bottom right is the biggest disappointment. Stay Sultry looks amazing in the pan with a blue shimmer. The pigmentation was quite disappointing. It works, but not well enough.
I used all four colours for this look. I used Serenade all over my lid, Brazenly in my crease, Stay Sultry on my outer corner and I used the Wrong Man to blend upwards to my brow bone.
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with this quad. I wish Stay Sultry was of better quality but it works when it’s blended so I guess it’s okay. I love the whole idea behind this MAC collection and this quad works well with it.
